SERPENT HALL PRESS
Makers and Purveyors of
Handcrafted Tomes of Sorcerous Art
To Re-Enchant the New Dark Age
* * *
Welcome to Serpent Hall Press. We are a steadfast company of creatives using our hands, minds, and souls to make and publish books on witchcraft and the occult arts. We craft and bind books in a traditional manner, as a service to the men and women of our world who wish to study or bring occult efforts to life in a serious and fulfilling way.
We are a small but ardent operation in northern New England, artisanal bookmakers and practitioners of the Old Ways ourselves. Our work aims to bring the best poetry, prose, research, and rituals of the historical and contemporary occult worlds to discerning book collectors, as a means of preserving and building knowledge, as well as counteracting the slow dis-enchantment of our wounded modern world.
We hold ourselves to the highest standards: we honor the spirit of the centuries-old tradition of occult bookmaking; we avoid modern conceits that are often promulgated as magic or occultism; we write, print, and bind everything by hand and collaborate with human artists for illustrations. We do not use or incorporate AI technologies and never will. We believe that in this regard, the old ways are the best ways.

Lucus Tenebrarum: A Manual and Testament of Witchcraft
A mesmerizing, self-contained, and beautifully realized manual of historical spellwork and Witchcraft, Lucus Tenebrarum brings to life seven spells from the legendary Black Books of Elverum, chief among them the spell of Releasing the Angels from Hell, which empowers those who accomplish it in greater feats of sorcery and preternatural authority. Fourteen more spells from Early Modern and Medieval grimoires, and all the needed scholarly and practical background to bring their potentials into being, make up the core of this potently constructed grimoire.
Lucus Tenebrarum is more than just a book of Witchcraft; it is a deep-dive into the extraordinary psychology hidden within historical Witches and their strange doings, and an exploration of the controversial figure of Lucifer as he existed in pre-Christian times and later into history, where he was invoked by Witches and sorcerers across Europe and the Americas for empowerment and protection. This tome provides a full criteria of power-gaining for modern Witches, instructing an effective course for protection, discovering the identities of local spiritual powers by occult means, and invoking spirits to gain teachings and familiars, all alongside the collection of 21 powerful and practical acts of spell working.

The Dalix Working Deluxe Chapbook Edition
First published by Robin Artisson in 2019, this new, revised, and expanded chapbook print edition of The Dalix Working contains the art by the celebrated UK artist Red K. Elders.
This work is an introduction to the mystical world of the Scandinavian Black Book folk-occult tradition, and focuses on how to perform a centuries-old ritual invocation of a mysterious spirit or Goddess named Dalix. Dalix was believed to grant the favor of receiving and keeping money, and those who succeeded at creating this special historical relationship with Dalix expected to see their financial fortunes change for the better.
Instructions for the early modern ritual are given, as well as Artisson’s own version for modern folk working within modern contexts. This edition includes two other Black Book money-related spells, new art, and other improvements on the original work.
44 pages, trim 7.5 inches by 5 inches, 80 lb oatmeal brown craft cover, 70 lb cream interior paper, made from 100% recycled materials.

Dreams of the Moon & Nightmares of the Sun
Dreams of the Moon & Nightmares of the Sun is a two-part work of occult ritual performance and metaphysical exploration by Robin Artisson. The first part of the work is a ritual text called Letamnyn: The Elementalist Grimoire, which gives four potent rituals that influence the living powers connected to the classical elements, alongside lucid and complete explanations and instructions for their use.
The second part is an anthology of occult writings done by Artisson over the last several years, covering topics including trance induction, lucid dreaming, sleep paralysis and altered states, protective talismans, spirit conjurations, witchcraft-related folklores and histories, a deep-dive analysis of the dreadful Taghairm Nan Cat ritual from early modern Scotland, and many other enlightening and controversial topics.
We shall announce the progress and availability of this offering in 2026. It will be printed by Serpent Hall Press in soft and hardcover editions, in limited runs of each.
Serpent Hall Press is overseen and operated by friends of Serpent Hall Institute, in line with a deeper spiritual association. All books purchased will be mailed out generally within four to five days after the order is completed.
